Helping Neighbors in Need Outreach Center opened its doors in 2015 with a commitment to serve the poor, the homeless, and the marginalized of Prince William County with dignity, compassion, and practical support. As a faith-based, IRS‑approved 501(c)(3) charity, we have grown into a trusted community anchor where individuals facing crisis can find safety, stability, and a path forward.
From the beginning, our outreach center has offered more than immediate relief—we have offered a place of belonging. Neighbors come to us for hot meals, computer access, medical referrals, emergency shelter assistance, food resources, and life‑skills support such as anger management classes. As our community’s needs have grown, so have we. Over time, we expanded our services to include housing support, wrap‑around case management, job referrals, coaching, mentoring, and transportation assistance to help individuals access employment, referrals to healthcare, and essential services.
Every program we offer is rooted in the belief that people thrive when they are supported holistically. Our team works one‑on‑one with individuals to reduce barriers, stabilize their immediate needs, and build long‑term pathways toward independence and well‑being. Through strong community partnerships and a commitment to trauma‑informed, equitable care, we continue to meet people where they are and walk with them toward brighter futures.
Helping Neighbors in Need remains a place where compassion meets action—where every person is seen, valued, and supported as they take their next steps toward stability and hope.

Helping Neighbors in Need Outreach Center exists to serve the poor, the vulnerable, and the marginalized of Prince William County with compassion, dignity, and unwavering respect. We provide essential resources, crisis support, and pathways to stability so that every neighbor—regardless of background, circumstance, or identity—has the opportunity to thrive. Through community partnerships, equitable service delivery, and a commitment to meeting people where they are, we work to reduce hardship, restore hope, and strengthen the well‑being of our entire community.
